DP-900 Azure Data Fundamentals Practice Tests: Data Choices

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Choosing a data service starts with the workload, not the product name. These Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals DP-900 practice tests help you distinguish similar options by their data model, access pattern, compatibility and analytical purpose.

Practise relational keys and SQL results, compare Azure SQL deployment choices, and separate file, object, table and document storage. Analytics questions trace ingestion, transformation, streaming and presentation through Fabric, Spark-related processing and Power BI. Small tables and short statements ask you to follow what the data actually means or what an operation changes.

The course contains 322 questions in four focused sets and two mixed 60-question, 45-minute practices. Every option has feedback, alongside an overall explanation and a review step. For example, keeping a PostgreSQL application's drivers is a different requirement from simply selecting any managed relational database.

Use the focused sets to identify a misconception, explain why the closest alternative fails, then revisit the relevant learning material before attempting a mixed test. Mark correct guesses as well as errors so your revision targets reasoning rather than remembered answer positions.

The scope is the DP-900 skills measured from July 21, 2026. Introductory data study and comfort with small tables are helpful; no paid Azure deployment is required. The mock question count and percentage target are course-designed, not a fixed Microsoft exam specification or a conversion of its scaled score. This independent practice resource complements foundational study and provides no hosted cloud lab.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish data representations and choose storage approaches using the actual access pattern.
  • Apply relational keys, normalization and SQL rules to concrete examples and common mistakes.
  • Compare Azure SQL deployment options using engine compatibility, instance features and operating-system control.
  • Select Azure storage and Cosmos DB approaches using protocol, retrieval, document and API requirements.
  • Trace an analytics solution through ingestion, transformation, storage, streaming and presentation.
  • Interpret Power BI model relationships, measures, refresh behavior and appropriate visual choices.
