PMI-SP Scheduling: Evidence-Based Practice Tests

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A complete activity list can still lack an executable resource commitment. A revised date in a chat can support impact analysis without authorising a baseline change. Practise testing these conditions before accepting a schedule or reporting progress.

These tests support PMI Scheduling Professional preparation across strategy, planning and development, monitoring and control, closeout and stakeholder communication.

Connect the model to a feasible commitment

Questions cover dependency networks, critical paths, float, calendars, resource limits, handoffs, schedule risk, earned value, recovery options and change control. Calculations state the time origin, units and relevant assumptions so you can distinguish an unconstrained forecast from a resource-feasible plan.

Feedback explains every answer choice and the condition behind the conclusion. You will examine who can approve a baseline, what progress evidence establishes, and why a deadline gap does not by itself show recoverable time.

The 320 original questions include five focused tests of 25, 45, 40, 15 and 25 questions, followed by one 170-question, 210-minute integrated mock. Its domain allocation is a rounded practice interpretation of the published weights.

Review the assumption before changing the date

Begin with the focused tests. For each error, identify whether you missed logic, capacity, evidence, authorisation or a reporting need. Review the study tip, then explain how changing that condition would change the decision. Use the integrated mock after addressing recurring gaps.

All mock questions count toward the learning score. The official examination includes 150 scored and 20 unscored questions. The 80% course checkpoint is a study target, not PMI's passing standard.

Basic scheduling concepts and arithmetic are expected; no proprietary scheduling client is required. This independent course does not establish eligibility or award qualifying education hours. It is not endorsed by PMI and does not provide confidential exam questions or guarantee a result.

What Will You Learn?

  • Interpret CPM networks, critical and near-critical paths, total float and free float using explicit assumptions.
  • Distinguish precedence-based dates from feasible schedules under limited resources, calendars and interface constraints.
  • Evaluate schedule-risk probabilities, contingency, correlated risks and multi-path completion effects.
  • Apply appropriate progress evidence and interpret EVM, SPI and BEI alongside milestone forecasts.
  • Compare recovery alternatives and preserve authorized baseline changes with a traceable history.
  • Resolve schedule handoffs, communicate decision impacts and complete contractual schedule closeout.
