About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A project can appear sustainable while missing the boundary or calculation condition that decides compliance. These LEED AP Building Design + Construction v5 practice tests help you connect the applicable requirement, project facts and supporting evidence.

Practise eligibility, scope and integrated design, then examine location, sites, water, energy, materials and indoor environment. Questions ask you to check tenant assumptions, compatible product evidence, carbon boundaries and consistent denominators instead of accepting a green label or an attractive percentage at face value.

The 360 single-answer questions form four focused 40-question sets and two 100-question, 120-minute mocks. Feedback for every option, an overall explanation and study guidance help you locate the assumption behind an error. Numerical cases require compatible units and a documented basis, not a mixture of cost and area in one ratio.

Use focused practice alongside the rating-system references, keep your workings and revisit errors and guesses before attempting a mock. This course targets the LEED v5 beta specialty scope recorded from the September 2026 handbook and July 2026 BD+C rating system. Each mock uses the published 85-count domain core plus 15 author-distributed reinforcement questions; all practice items count.

Green-building foundations and basic calculations are recommended. The Green Associate portion and a professional credential are not included. The tests do not reproduce confidential scored/unscored placement or psychometric difficulty. BrightRung Learning is independent of USGBC and GBCI; neither endorses these products. LEED and related marks belong to their respective owners. Practice results do not guarantee a pass.

What Will You Learn?

  • Evaluate MPRs, prerequisites, project boundaries, rating-system selection and the additional v5 Platinum conditions.
  • Connect early design goals with climate resilience, human impact, carbon assessments and tenant coordination.
  • Apply sensitive-land, density, transit, bicycle, parking, EV and equitable-development decision rules.
  • Assess habitat, construction pollution controls, heat, exterior light, rainwater and accessible outdoor-space strategies.
  • Calculate water reductions and evaluate efficient fixtures, process water, reuse, metering and leak-response evidence.
  • Distinguish energy metrics, electrification conditions, thermal loads, renewable attributes, refrigerant impacts and commissioning responsibilities.
  • Compare embodied-carbon boundaries, EPD evidence, material reuse, low-emitting products and waste-management flows.
  • Evaluate comfort, daylight, acoustic expectations, inclusion, ventilation, IAQ and outage/event resilience across the current BD+C scope.
