Splunk Enterprise Architect SPLK-2002: Practice Tests

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

An average latency result cannot establish a contractual percentile target during a peer outage. Practise testing the architecture against the agreed metric and failure condition, rather than accepting a favourable but different benchmark.

These tests support Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, SPLK-2002, through planning, diagnosis and distributed-deployment decisions.

Connect configuration to the required service

Questions cover sizing, indexes, security, forwarders, inputs, performance, logs, licensing, search jobs, indexer clusters, multisite placement, search head clustering and KV Store. Scenarios ask you to distinguish connected peers from sufficient searchable copies and a forwarder connection from successful delivery to the intended index.

Every alternative includes feedback, an overall explanation and study tip. You will inspect acceptance criteria, configuration evidence and operational state before choosing a change. Release-specific questions identify the relevant documented version.

The 360 original questions comprise four focused sets of 50, 50, 45 and 45 questions and two 85-question mocks covering all 20 blueprint domains. Each mock uses 87 minutes for answers, separating the three-minute agreement period within the published 90-minute allowance.

Review the criterion that remains untested

Attempt the focused sets first. For each error, identify the metric, data path, copy requirement, deployment channel or authority you assumed. Revisit the underlying documentation and, where appropriate, explore the scenario in a safe lab before taking the mixed mocks without notes.

The 80% practice target is a course learning goal, not a published official passing percentage. Matching time and question count does not establish equivalent difficulty.

Distributed Splunk administration knowledge is expected. These tests do not replace the required credentials, training or deployment practical lab, and no lab is supplied. This independent resource is not endorsed by Splunk, contains no official exam questions and does not guarantee certification.

What Will You Learn?

  • Estimate non-SmartStore capacity using measured rawdata and tsidx fractions, retention, replication and headroom.
  • Turn deployment requirements into measurable acceptance gates and role-appropriate architecture decisions.
  • Diagnose input, forwarding, licensing and search problems using configuration, logs and Job Inspector evidence.
  • Evaluate RF/SF, multisite copy placement, peer removal and search readiness under failure.
  • Plan SHC membership, majority survival, deployer changes and captain responsibilities.
  • Distinguish KV lookup configuration from live records and select documented backup and recovery checks.
