About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

An AI-generated test can look convincing while using the wrong rule, missing a dependency or leaving a coverage gap. Prepare for ISTQB Testing with Generative AI, CT-GenAI v1.1, by deciding what evidence to provide and what to verify before using the output.

Use GenAI to support the testing task

Practice foundations and prompt construction, test-work-product applications, output evaluation and improvement, responsible use, infrastructure and organizational adoption. Scenarios ask you to distinguish rules from instructions, adequate context from an irrelevant retrieved passage, and a helpful agent action from an unauthorized one.

The 320 original questions include four topic sets and two 40-question, 60-minute mocks. The mocks follow the five chapters, per-objective allocations and K1/K2/K3 balance.

Verify the intermediate result

Every question includes feedback for each option, a reasoned answer and a study suggestion. Inspect an inclusive limit, prerequisite, denominator or structured handoff. For a missed question, explain whether the problem was missing information, faulty reasoning or an unchecked transition to another testing stage.

Foundation testing concepts and the official v1.1 syllabus are recommended. No paid AI account is required for the tests; question practice does not replace hands-on exercises with real tools.

The focus is using GenAI for testing, distinct from the separate CT-AI qualification. the practice platform’s equal-item 65% target does not reproduce the official 30-out-of-46 weighted score. CTFL certification is an exam-entry requirement, and this independent, unaccredited resource has no ISTQB endorsement or voucher.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish model concepts, context limitations and visual evidence relevant to GenAI-assisted testing.
  • Build and assess structured prompts using the six components, examples, chaining and meta prompting.
  • Apply GenAI to requirement analysis, test design, regression work, monitoring and test control.
  • Evaluate generated testware using correctness, precision, recall, diversity, execution and useful-effort measures.
  • Identify unsupported claims, reasoning mistakes, coverage bias and data-handling risks in testing outputs.
  • Explain RAG, agents, fine-tuning, operational responsibilities and a governed adoption roadmap.
  • Practice the CT-GenAI v1.1 objective distribution in two 40-question, 60-minute mock tests.
