Mendix Intermediate Developer: Applied Practice Tests

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A page filter does not necessarily enforce data security. A helper can change an object without changing a primitive parameter. Prepare for Mendix Intermediate Developer by tracing the application behaviour behind a modeling choice.

Connect the model with the result

Practice collaboration and modules, multilingual interfaces, XPath and application access, microflows and lists, object lifecycle, pages, domain relationships and transient data. Questions ask you to inspect grouping, empty values, role combinations, validation, commits and event behaviour in bounded scenarios.

The 320 original questions include four topic practices and two 50-question, 90-minute mocks. The focused sets develop the public capability groups before you combine domain, page and flow constraints.

Explain why the similar solution is insufficient

Every question provides option feedback, a deciding-rule explanation and official reading links. Distinguish a stakeholder request from backlog accountability, or unfinished work from a Done increment. For technical items, trace the value or state each operation actually changes before revealing the answer.

Rapid Developer concepts and basic Studio Pro modeling should already be familiar. An optional development environment supports follow-up practice but is not required to answer the tests.

The scope uses the August 2026 guide v3.2 and public topics. Examples focus on Mendix 10 where identified; the exam guide does not fix a runtime release. Topic proportions are editorial. The real exam requires the Rapid Developer certificate and is proctored and unpausable; these timed mocks do not recreate that platform. This independent resource has no Mendix endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Evaluate XPath constraints using grouping, association existence and explicit empty-value behavior.
  • Distinguish page visibility, client execution permissions and entity access across role combinations.
  • Trace primitive and object parameters, list results, validation paths and commit-event behavior.
  • Choose responsive page structure, shared interface resources and correct object context.
  • Model relationships, system audit members, calculated values and transient wizard state.
  • Apply collaboration practices and review multilingual interfaces without coupling logic to translated captions.
