Salesforce Platform Developer (PD I): Practice Tests
About Course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
A shared calculation can be correct while one Flow caller supplies the wrong input. Practise tracing the value across the boundary before changing a working service to compensate for a caller's defect.
These tests support Salesforce Certified Platform Developer preparation, commonly searched as Platform Developer I or PD1.
Connect code behaviour to platform constraints
Questions cover platform design and data models, declarative versus code choices, Apex, SOQL and SOSL, DML, triggers, limits, exceptions, component contracts, secure interfaces, testing, debugging and deployment. Scenarios distinguish transaction resource limits from record visibility and server-side access checks from interface presentation.
Every option has feedback, with an overall explanation and focused study suggestion. You will follow the actual input, query or execution context to locate the first correction, rather than replacing correct logic or assuming another layer supplies permission.
The 360 original questions comprise four focused sets of 60, 84, 60 and 36 questions and two 60-question, 105-minute mocks. The mocks approximate the published four-domain weights with 16/17/15/12 questions and use a 68% practice threshold.
Review the failing boundary
Complete the focused work first. Record whether each error came from input mapping, execution order, access context, limits or a deployment dependency. Review the rejected alternatives and try relevant configurations with fictional records in an authorised development environment where available. Then take each mock without notes.
The scope follows the official Summer '25 guide checked in October 2026. Explicit API 67 security exercises are identified as extensions, rather than a new exam baseline. Focused tests use an 80% learning target; mocks omit possible additional unscored questions.
Basic programming, relational data and Salesforce development knowledge are expected. This independent assessment course is separate from Platform Developer II preparation and supplies no hosted lab. It is not endorsed by Salesforce and does not guarantee a certification result.
