About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Appending to a class-level list and assigning an instance attribute change different things. Practise following lookup, mutation and rebinding before deciding whether an advanced Python design satisfies its contract.

These tests support PCPP1 Certified Professional Python Programmer Level 1, PCPP-32-101, using the active 101 syllabus.

Follow dispatch, event flow and data boundaries

Questions cover advanced OOP, special methods, MRO, properties, decorators, copying and persistence; coding conventions, docstrings and type hints; tkinter widgets, callbacks and state; and sockets, REST, Requests, SQLite, XML, CSV, logging and configuration.

Each option includes feedback, with an overall explanation and study tip. The reasoning shows how shared state differs from an instance-specific value, why a caught error can affect transaction behaviour, and how request or event conditions change the next operation.

The 360 original questions comprise four focused tests of 90, 45, 60 and 75 questions, followed by two 45-question, 65-minute mixed mocks. Each mock uses section counts of 15/7/8/8/7.

Review the contract before memorising the output

Start with the focused areas and explain your answer before opening feedback. For each mistake, record whether you missed lookup, control flow, mutable state, an API condition or a transaction boundary. Try a small local variation where useful, then take a mixed mock in one sitting.

The 80% course target is a learning checkpoint; the official exam uses a 70% normalised passing score and its own scoring rules. Selection-based questions train the decisions without reproducing coding or interactive exam controls.

PCAP-level Python knowledge is expected. Explicitly versioned examples use Python 3.12 conditions. This course targets 101, separate from the 102 syllabus in development, and does not extend into a data-science certification. It is independent preparation, without Python Institute/OpenEDG endorsement, actual examination questions or a pass guarantee.

What Will You Learn?

  • Diagnose advanced object behavior involving MRO, descriptors, decorators, ABCs, exceptions and copying.
  • Apply PEP guidance to code layout, naming, documentation and type-checking decisions.
  • Trace tkinter callbacks, input validation, Canvas edits, geometry and observable state.
  • Handle socket streams and REST responses while separating status, representation and timeout behavior.
  • Reason about SQLite transactions and process XML, CSV, logging records and INI configuration.
  • Identify weak areas through 270 targeted questions and two independent 45-question timed mocks.
