About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A script can run while turning a missing reading into a false zero or using the wrong denominator. These PCED Certified Entry-Level Data Analyst with Python practice tests help you connect a data definition, code operation and supported analytical conclusion.

Practise sources, sampling, storage and responsible data use, then trace Python collections, functions, scope and expected failures. Preparation and exploration questions examine CSV, missing values, conversion, descriptive statistics and NumPy. Communication tasks ask you to choose charts and narratives that preserve the distinction between counts, rates and the limits of the evidence.

The 320 questions form four focused sets and two 40-question, 60-minute mocks. Every option has feedback, with a worked explanation and review suggestion. Small datasets keep the deciding assumption visible: a daily total cannot recover the discarded hourly distribution or identify its peak.

Use focused practice to predict the result and record whether an error arose from definition, code, calculation or interpretation. Revisit the relevant documentation, rework the example without its solution and then attempt a mixed mock.

The scope is PCED-30-02, not the retired -01 or advanced machine-learning implementation. Basic Python and introductory percentage, mean and median familiarity are helpful; a Python/NumPy environment is optional. The 75% target is a study setting. Local multiple-select items require the complete answer, while official partial-credit detail is not claimed. This independent resource supplements introductory learning and does not award certification or guarantee a result.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish data types, evaluate sources and sampling, and choose appropriate storage for an analytical task.
  • Trace Python collections, functions, scope, conditions, loops, and expected exceptions in small data workflows.
  • Read text and CSV, handle missing and invalid values, normalize categories, and apply explicit conversion rules.
  • Calculate aggregates, means, medians, frequencies, and sample or population dispersion with the correct denominator.
  • Use basic NumPy arrays, sequences, filtering, sorting, unique counts, and correlation without overstating findings.
  • Interpret charts, communicate a supported narrative, and disclose material scope and preparation limits.
  • Practice two 40-question, 60-minute mocks using the PCED-30-02 four-block allocation.
