About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A lower price is not a better agreement if it removes a service the business still needs. These CIPS Commercial Negotiation L4M5 practice tests help you connect negotiation objectives, commercial evidence and stakeholder consequences before choosing a response.

Practise distributive and integrative approaches, power and conflict, supplier relationships and the preparation behind a credible proposal. Cost questions ask you to distinguish contribution, break-even volume, margin and markup. Package scenarios test feasible BATNAs, acceptable ranges, timing, risk and delegated authority. Communication questions examine listening, questioning, persuasion and reflection rather than treating a tactic as universally effective.

The 360 questions are organised into four focused 60-question tests and two 60-question, 90-minute mixed mocks. Feedback for every option explains what a choice overlooks, and overall rationales or workings support further study. A short study prompt helps you turn an error into a specific revision task.

Use the focused sets to identify whether your difficulty concerns the calculation, the commercial constraint or the interaction. Explain the closest alternative in your own words, revisit your module materials and then attempt a mixed mock before consulting its feedback.

The course follows the currently linked Version 2 L4M5 syllabus recorded in its scope. Introductory procurement knowledge and basic cost arithmetic are recommended. These independent written exercises supplement Level 4 study; they are not official exam questions or a live negotiation assessment. A practice percentage is a learning signal and does not guarantee a CIPS result.
