IAPP CIPP/C Practice Tests: Canadian Privacy Decisions

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A federal bank, a provincial employer and a health-information custodian can face different privacy obligations. These IAPP CIPP/C practice tests help you establish the organisation, information, purpose and legal context before selecting a Canadian privacy response.

Identify the applicable boundary

Practise jurisdiction and privacy foundations, governance and risk, PIPEDA principles and exceptions, provincial private-sector laws and CASL, public-sector privacy and health information. Scenarios ask whether a recipient acts on instructions or independently, whether consent addresses the proposed purpose, and which right or exception applies to the stated facts.

Every option receives feedback, with an overall explanation and study guidance. Use these to distinguish a broad principle from a specific statutory condition and a recognised exemption from a universal exemption. The explanations help you identify the fact that makes a nearby legal regime or action unsuitable.

Use focused revision rather than a simulated full exam

The 310 questions are organised into six topical tests: one with 60 questions and five with 50. Their study timers support concentrated review; these sets are not full-length exam mocks. Work through a topic after studying the underlying rules, record uncertain conditions, then revisit the source material before retrying.

The scope is CIPP/C Body of Knowledge and Blueprint 3.1.0. Familiarity with Canadian privacy concepts is recommended. The 80% target is study feedback rather than an IAPP scaled-score conversion. These independent educational scenarios are not individual legal advice, official examination questions or an IAPP-endorsed course.
