IAPP CIPP/AU Practice Tests: Australian Privacy Decisions

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

The same information-handling action can raise different questions depending on the entity, information category, purpose, exception and commencement date. Prepare for IAPP CIPP/AU by identifying those conditions before selecting the relevant Australian privacy response.

Follow the information through its legal context

Practice coverage and core APP decisions, collection and notification, use and disclosure, overseas recipients, information quality and security, access and correction, breach response and enforcement. Special-context scenarios examine health, finance, children, employment and surveillance without treating an exemption from one framework as authority under another.

The 300 original single-answer questions are organized into six 50-question tests, using Body of Knowledge and Exam Blueprint v1.0, effective June 30, 2026. The final mixed set changes conditions so you can practice switching between frameworks.

Identify what the exception actually changes

Every question includes feedback for every option, an overall explanation and a study prompt, with source links in the feedback. Distinguish a permission from an obligation, an Australian-link condition from the rest of coverage, and a future change from an operative duty. After a mistake, revisit the controlling source rather than memorizing a broad slogan.

Basic privacy terminology and confidence reading English regulatory explanations are helpful. Consult current IAPP and regulator materials alongside the questions.

The 100-minute timer and 80% target are custom study settings. They are not confirmed official CIPP/AU examination timing, item count or passing-score equivalence, and these are not full-length simulations. This independent resource has no IAPP endorsement and provides educational practice rather than personal legal advice.
