About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A useful AI demonstration does not establish a worthwhile investment or a safe organizational rollout. Prepare for Microsoft AI Transformation Leader, AB-731, by judging the business need, evidence, ownership and readiness behind an AI proposal.

Choose the capability for the business task

Practice generative-AI foundations, Microsoft AI solution choices, responsible AI, governance, organizational adoption, and data, model and integration decisions. Questions distinguish prediction from language generation, or classification from creative content merely because both return words.

The 320 original questions include four 60-question focused sets and two 40-question, 45-minute integrated practice sets, using the skills measured from July 22, 2026.

Inspect the missing prerequisite

Every question includes feedback for each option, an overall rationale, a study tip and official reading references. Identify a missing source, unsupported control assumption, changed requirement or adoption barrier. Product questions distinguish account context and entitlements rather than infer capability from a name alone.

Basic business processes and Microsoft 365 familiarity are helpful. No coding or paid cloud deployment is required. Work through a focused gap, then use a timed set to apply several leadership decisions together.

The 40-item length is author-selected: Microsoft does not publish a fixed AB-731 count or exact interaction mix. These selection exercises do not recreate every interactive component, and 80% is not a conversion of the scaled passing score. The business cases are hypothetical learning scenarios. This independent resource has no Microsoft endorsement.
