About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A desktop can be available while its user cannot sign in, attach a profile or launch the required application. These AZ-140 practice tests help you separate those dependencies and choose the control or observation that addresses the actual failure.

Follow the user session through its prerequisites

Practise infrastructure, storage, host images, identity and session-host security. FSLogix and application cases connect profile access, user experience and publishing, while operational scenarios examine monitoring, maintenance and recovery. Questions ask whether the issue is capacity, routing, permission, guest state or an application dependency.

Every answer choice has feedback, with an overall explanation and study suggestion. Adequate average bandwidth, for example, does not resolve interactive latency spikes. Use the explanations to compare each design with representative conditions and distinguish a broadly useful improvement from the action supported by the evidence.

The 360 questions include four focused sets and two 50-question mocks with 100-minute timers. Start with the dependency behind your least certain answers, revisit the relevant principle, then attempt a mixed mock without notes. Review both mistakes and guesses before the second test.

The scope is Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, skills effective July 20, 2026. Azure and Windows administration foundations are recommended. The 50-question length and 80% target are author-defined practice choices, not a reproduction of all official interactions or scaled scoring. This independent written resource supplies no hosted desktop environment, official exam items or Microsoft endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish network transport, Private Link, storage performance and identity-based SMB dependencies.
  • Select host-pool architectures, deployment inputs and reproducible image versions for stated requirements.
  • Separate application entitlement, Azure RBAC, guest logon rights, SSO and Conditional Access.
  • Diagnose FSLogix, client redirection and application delivery problems using the relevant control layer.
  • Evaluate monitoring collection, scaling, update capacity and recovery dependencies.
  • Practice timed decisions across the four published AZ-140 domains.
