About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A fund can follow its mandate and still be unsuitable for an individual client. A payout can look attractive while its costs or source change the comparison. Prepare for CSI Investment Funds in Canada, IFC, by connecting client circumstances, investment characteristics and representative responsibilities.

Work through the decision behind the product

Practice client discovery, risk tolerance and financial capacity, investment products and portfolios, fund mandates, performance comparisons, fees and professional conduct. Numerical exercises work through returns, weights, NAV, costs and adjusted cost base using the assumptions supplied.

The 320 original English questions include four 30-question focused sets and two 100-question, 180-minute mocks. The mocks use CSI's published eight-domain weighting; the focused sets give you a shorter route back to a weaker concept.

Explain the client-specific condition

Every question includes an answer explanation, feedback for each option and a review prompt. Check whether an answer meets this client's horizon and liquidity needs, whether the comparison uses consistent measures, and whether the proposed action remains within registration and authorization boundaries.

Study the official IFC materials alongside these tests. Basic percentage skills and a calculator will help with the numerical questions. Start with focused practice, review both wrong answers and uncertain correct answers, and reserve the second mock until you have revisited your gaps.

The 60% mock threshold and separate 70% focused-study target do not predict an examination result. Tax rates and contract assumptions stated in exercises apply to those exercises. This is independent educational practice, without CSI endorsement, registration or an IFC credential.
