About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Should the chief audit executive revise the plan, report a limitation or escalate an accepted risk? These CIA Part 3 practice tests help you distinguish plausible responses by the facts, responsibilities and decision stage in the case.

Manage the function, not just the engagement

Practise resources, strategy, providers, technology and stakeholder communication. Planning questions connect the audit universe, risk priorities and reliance on other assurance providers. Quality and reporting scenarios examine assessments, nonconformance, performance evidence, report conclusions, management responses and action follow-up.

Each option includes feedback, with an overall explanation and study guidance. Two providers may offer equal technical capability while only one agreement protects confidential workpapers. Use the explanations to identify the governance or evidence condition that a technically acceptable answer leaves unresolved.

The 400 questions comprise four focused tests and two 100-question mocks with 120-minute timers. Begin with the area where you hesitate between alternatives, explain the relevant authority and sequence, then attempt a mixed mock without notes. Review both incorrect answers and correct guesses before the second test.

The scope is the 2025 Internal Audit Function syllabus, using the 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards; it is not the former Business Knowledge syllabus. Internal-audit foundations are recommended. The 80% target is a course setting rather than a conversion of the official 600 scaled passing score. This independent written resource contains no official examination questions, accreditation or endorsement by The IIA.
