TOGAF EA Foundation OGEA-101: Explained Practice Tests

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

An enterprise can span independent organisations with a shared purpose, and a forecast benefit still needs to be realised. Practise placing TOGAF concepts in their proper context instead of matching familiar words to an answer.

These tests support TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation through OGEA-101, the Enterprise Architecture Part 1 examination, using the TOGAF Standard, 10th Edition certification syllabus.

Separate closely related architecture concepts

Questions cover enterprise scope, terminology, the Architecture Development Method, techniques, iteration, governance and architecture content. Short situations help you distinguish neighbouring ADM phases, a view from a viewpoint, and an Architecture Definition Document from an Architecture Requirements Specification.

Feedback explains every answer option, followed by an overall rationale and study tip. The emphasis is Foundation recall and understanding, rather than Practitioner-level graded scenarios or advanced implementation claims.

The 360 original single-answer questions comprise four topic sets of 70, 90, 70 and 50 questions and two 40-question, 60-minute mocks. Each mock follows the published six-group allocation of 8/14/6/4/3/5 and uses a 60% practice pass mark. The larger focused sets use a separate 70% learning checkpoint.

Review the distinction before repeating the question

Work through topic practice in manageable sessions. After an error, identify the purpose, phase, content type or governance responsibility you confused. Revisit the related learning outcome and explain why the closest alternative answers a different question. Then attempt the mocks under closed-book conditions.

Basic business and IT terminology is helpful. Study the Foundation syllabus alongside legitimate TOGAF learning materials; the Standard itself is not included. No prior certification is required.

This independent assessment resource provides no video lectures, examination voucher or certification. It is not accredited or endorsed by The Open Group, contains no official or recalled examination questions and does not predict your examination result.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish enterprise architecture concepts, four domains, abstraction, the Enterprise Continuum, and the Architecture Repository.
  • Recognize ADM phase purposes, objectives, and information flow, including Requirements Management.
  • Explain principles, business scenarios, gap analysis, interoperability, transformation readiness, and risk management.
  • Understand iteration, architecture levels, partitioning, and architecture support for strategy, portfolios, projects, and solution delivery.
  • Distinguish governance responsibilities, contracts, compliance, views, viewpoints, building blocks, and key deliverables.
  • Review your reasoning through two timed OGEA-101-format practice mocks.
