GitHub Copilot GH-300 Practice Tests: Verify and Apply

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A convincing Copilot explanation can name an API that the installed library does not have. A generated test can run while checking the wrong requirement. Prepare for GitHub Copilot GH-300 by practicing what to verify before trusting a suggestion or applying a control.

Choose the feature and validate the result

Work through responsible AI, data flow and model limits; Copilot features across IDE, CLI and GitHub workflows; prompt engineering and development quality; and privacy, exclusions and safeguards. Scenarios identify the applicable surface and tool constraints rather than treating every Copilot workflow as equivalent.

The 420 original English questions include four topic sets and two 60-question, 100-minute mixed tests, using the study-guide scope effective August 7, 2026. The focused sets isolate a gap before you combine feature, context and verification decisions.

Inspect the contract behind the suggestion

Every question includes option-level feedback, an overall explanation and a study tip. Check a version-specific API, inspect a Python operator, judge what a test establishes, or determine whether a privacy rule applies to the current workflow. After an error, name the unsupported assumption before retrying.

Basic Git and GitHub knowledge plus familiarity with a programming language are recommended. Short Python, SQL and configuration examples require reading rather than advanced language expertise. No Copilot subscription or hosted lab is needed for the questions.

The mixed-test length and 70% threshold are course settings rather than a fixed official question count or scaled-score conversion. This independent preparation contains no official exam questions and has no GitHub or Microsoft endorsement.
