GH-900 GitHub Foundations Practice Tests: Collaborate Safely

Share

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Git saves work locally; GitHub adds shared repositories, review and team controls. These GH-900 GitHub Foundations practice tests help you decide which part of that workflow addresses the task and who has the authority to make a change.

Understand the boundary before choosing an action

Practise version control, repository structure, branches, pull requests, reviews and collaboration. Work through modern development, Copilot concepts, Projects, security, administration and open-source community decisions. Scenarios ask you to distinguish inspecting remote commits from integrating them, repository visibility from permission, and a proposed review gate from an enforced rule.

Every answer choice has feedback, with an overall explanation and supporting study guidance. Use these to explain why a nearby command or feature changes more than the requirement allows. A correct guess is still worth reviewing if you cannot identify what rules out the alternatives.

Build foundations in manageable sessions

The 420 questions include four focused banks and two 50-question mixed tests with 100-minute timers. Work through a bank after studying its topic, review missed reasoning, then take a mixed test without notes. The course is suitable for beginners, including non-developers, with some familiarity with everyday repository use.

The scope follows the January 2026 GH-900 guide. Mock question counts and the 80% threshold are course study choices rather than an official exam-form or scaled-score reproduction. These are written practice questions, not a hosted development environment. This independent resource contains no official examination questions and is not endorsed by GitHub or Microsoft.
