Dynatrace Associate Written Practice Tests: Investigate

Share

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Normal host CPU does not rule out a failing downstream service. A query can count failures correctly without answering a question about failure percentage. These Dynatrace Associate written practice tests help you select evidence, inspect a measure and apply a platform rule to the monitoring problem actually described.

Connect observability features with investigation

Work through infrastructure and collection, dashboards and digital experience, DQL, topology, traces and logs, application security, workflows and ingestion. Scenarios identify Classic or the latest Dynatrace context where that distinction affects the answer.

The 360 original questions are organized into four focused sets and two mixed written-knowledge reviews, with 60 questions in each. This gives you a topic-specific route for closing a gap before combining evidence across areas.

Check what the observation proves

Every question includes feedback for all options, an overall explanation and a study suggestion. Follow failed requests through their call path, inspect the population and denominator in a query, and distinguish a detected condition from a completed response. Review why the closest alternative cannot answer the stated investigation.

Basic application, host, network and introductory Dynatrace knowledge is recommended. Use the tests alongside official learning resources and practical work in an authorized environment.

This course provides written knowledge practice only. Its 90-minute timers and 80% target are author-defined; they do not claim current official timing, partial-credit scoring or complete certification coverage. Hands-on certification tasks require separate preparation. This independent resource has no Dynatrace endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Choose relevant monitoring evidence for infrastructure, service, and user-experience investigations.
  • Interpret foundational DQL pipelines and distinguish filtering, field selection, aggregation, and time-range decisions.
  • Select dashboards, notebooks, logs, and business-event analysis for a stated operational question.
  • Distinguish real-user monitoring from synthetic checks and apply the environment specified in a scenario.
  • Connect vulnerability investigation and workflow automation to the conditions of an incident.
  • Explain why plausible alternatives fail and use targeted feedback to guide further study.
