Informatica CAI R42 Practice Tests: Integrate & Troubleshoot

About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A connection test can succeed while a process calls the wrong service, and a timeout can leave an external order's outcome uncertain. These Informatica Cloud Application Integration Developer practice tests help you distinguish those conditions and choose an integration action that preserves the required contract.

Follow the workflow beyond one successful step

Practise process rules, connections, event inputs, business objects, guides, asset migration, XQuery reasoning, API policies, monitoring and fault handling. Orchestration scenarios connect CAI with other tasks only where the workflow requires it. You will separate entry-format adaptation from shared execution and an internal completion status from the external business outcome.

Each answer choice includes feedback, with overall reasoning and a study suggestion. When event and REST entries use different field names, for example, normalising their contracts can allow one fulfilment implementation rather than duplicate business steps. The explanations help you locate the layer that needs correction.

The 330 questions comprise four focused units and two 70-question mocks with 90-minute timers. Start with the process or troubleshooting stage behind uncertain answers, review the deciding condition, then attempt a mixed mock without notes.

The scope uses the publicly linked R42 Skill Set Inventory, not an assumed exam version inferred from newer training dates. Individual booking details and official language availability were not independently confirmed. CAI familiarity is recommended. This independent written resource is not a combined CDI course, hosted integration lab or official examination question bank, and Informatica does not endorse it.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish processes, process objects, service connectors, connections and interactive guides by their responsibilities.
  • Trace assignments, decisions, subprocess mappings, waits and parallel-path constraints.
  • Select and diagnose service bindings, event-source settings, data access and migration dependencies.
  • Interpret HTTP outcomes, fault boundaries, correlation details, API policies and CAI-to-CDI task behavior.
  • Apply the documented rules to original recovery and end-to-end orchestration scenarios.
