About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A technically sound control can still solve the wrong lifecycle problem. Prepare for ISC2 Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, CSSLP, by connecting the business requirement, trust boundary, implementation evidence and remaining risk.

Follow security from requirements to retirement

Practice concepts and lifecycle management, requirements and architecture, implementation and testing, deployment and operations, and software supply-chain assurance. AI-related cases address data leakage, model changes, tool authority and evaluation within those lifecycle responsibilities.

The 325 original English questions include four focused 50-question tests and one 125-question, 180-minute mock. The focused sets build individual decision rules before you combine all eight domains under a timer.

Check the complete acceptance condition

Each question provides feedback for every option, an overall explanation and a study suggestion. Distinguish individual accountability from the confidentiality of an action, or a valid token signature from the token's intended audience. Explain which requirement a plausible alternative leaves unenforced.

Software-development and basic application-security familiarity are recommended. No paid software, cloud account or specialist client is required. Use the tests alongside the syllabus and practical lifecycle experience.

The scope follows the outline effective September 15, 2023 and its supplementary domain guidance. The mock approximates domain weights but uses platform-supported selection questions rather than every advanced exam interaction. The 75% target is a study goal, not a conversion of ISC2's scaled score. This independent resource has no ISC2 endorsement; registration and professional-experience requirements remain separate.

What Will You Learn?

  • Apply security principles to concrete access, integrity, availability and accountability decisions.
  • Turn threats, privacy needs and business constraints into testable requirements and traceable evidence.
  • Compare architecture, coding and testing controls using their actual protection boundaries.
  • Evaluate release integrity, operational risk, incident response, recovery and supplier assurance.
  • Recognize AI-related risks in data handling, tool permissions, model changes and component provenance.
  • Review mistakes using option-specific feedback and complete a 125-question timed practice session.
