About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A support tool is useful only when it addresses the problem shown by the evidence. These CompTIA A+ Core 2 220-1202 practice tests help you choose configuration, diagnostic and repair actions while respecting security, safety and support procedures.

Find the relevant clue before choosing a repair

Work through Windows tools, filesystems, commands, networking, macOS, Linux, application readiness and cloud productivity. Security questions compare access controls, authentication, malware protection, hardening and disposal. Troubleshooting and operational scenarios bring in logs, controlled comparisons, backups, change records, communication, remote support and responsible AI use.

Each option has feedback, alongside an overall explanation, study tip and relevant reading. Detection of an event, validation of an identity and visual evidence of an entrant are different capabilities. Reviewing those distinctions helps you see why a familiar tool may not answer the actual support question.

Practise by topic before the timer

The 402 questions comprise four focused drills with 80, 60, 40 and 42 questions, plus two 90-question mixed mocks with 90 minutes each. Review mistakes and uncertain correct answers before moving to a mixed attempt. Explain the condition that excludes each alternative rather than memorising answer positions.

The scope is 220-1202 V15, objectives document 4.0. Basic Core 2 study is recommended. These written tests do not reproduce interactive performance-based tasks, and the 80% checkpoint is not a scaled-score conversion. Core 1 is a separate A+ requirement. This independent resource contains no official CompTIA examination questions.

What Will You Learn?

  • Select Windows, macOS and Linux tools by the evidence and configuration task required.
  • Compare filesystem, edition, resource and deployment requirements before changing a workstation.
  • Distinguish authentication, authorization, encryption and device-security controls by their scope.
  • Diagnose software and security symptoms using logs, working comparisons and supported recovery paths.
  • Apply backup dependencies, change windows, safety rules and evidence-handling boundaries to support decisions.
  • Evaluate script and remote-access risks, and recognize AI accuracy, privacy and authorization limits.
