About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A link light is on, yet the service fails. A host has an address, yet its gateway is outside the subnet. A capture opens, yet it missed the exchange you needed. These Cisco CCST Networking 100-150 practice tests help you decide what an observation proves and which check comes next.

Build a network-support reasoning routine

Practice local switching and routed next hops, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, media and connectors, endpoint settings, packet captures and Cisco show commands. Security scenarios apply basic firewall conditions and home Wi-Fi modes. Calculations distinguish bandwidth from throughput and bits from bytes.

The 360 original questions are organized into four 70-question focused tests and two 40-question, 50-minute mixed readiness tests. Focused practice separates the building blocks; mixed sets ask you to identify the failed stage when several details appear together.

Use feedback to isolate the mistake

Every question includes an explanation, feedback for every option and a review topic. Trace physical connectivity, addressing, routing, DNS, transport and access controls in order. When an alternative looks plausible, ask whether it addresses the stage supported by the evidence.

Basic computer and everyday networking familiarity is enough to begin. No Cisco hardware or extra software is required, though practical skills need separate hands-on study.

The 40-item length, domain allocation and 80% practice target are author-selected; they are not official scoring specifications. Text configuration fragments and abbreviated outputs provide knowledge practice rather than a device simulator. This independent course stays within foundational CCST scope and has no Cisco endorsement.

What Will You Learn?

  • Distinguish what frames, packets, addresses, and common protocols do at each network layer.
  • Check IPv4 masks, subnet boundaries, gateway membership, and IPv6 address and prefix notation.
  • Choose compatible cabling, connectors, device ports, and power arrangements from a network plan.
  • Interpret Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS network settings and diagnostic evidence.
  • Read basic Cisco interface, route, neighbor, inventory, and MAC-table output.
  • Apply firewall rules, CIA and AAA concepts, authentication factors, and home wireless security choices.
  • Document network support findings with clear limits, verification, and appropriate next steps.
