About Course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

A valid output schema can still contain incorrect facts. A successful tool call can still violate the task's authority. A cheaper workflow can still fail the business outcome. Prepare for Claude Certified Architect – Professional, CCAR-P by practicing how to evaluate the whole system behind an appealing design.

Connect architecture choices with operating consequences

Examine model and context decisions, agent coordination, retrieval shape, tool authorization, integration boundaries and progressive discovery. Evaluation questions ask you to inspect denominators, experiments, failure evidence and complete costs. Governance and delivery scenarios connect oversight, requirements, handovers and lifecycle changes.

The 366 original questions follow four focused 60-question sets and two 63-question, 120-minute mocks across the seven Professional domains. This lets you investigate a narrower gap before combining technical constraints with stakeholder commitments.

Separate language generation from enforced guarantees

Each single-answer or multiple-answer question includes option feedback, an overall explanation and a targeted study tip. Consider whether fresh carrier data is needed before an ETA prototype, or whether ambiguous invoice extraction should feed a trusted deterministic calculation. The feedback shows which component must establish the required condition.

Familiarity with LLM applications, APIs, RAG and basic system design is recommended. No Claude subscription or paid API access is required for these question-based tests.

The scope follows Professional Guide v1.0, effective July 2026. Mock domain counts are approximate practice allocations, and 80% is a learning goal rather than a conversion of the official scaled score. This independent resource has no Anthropic endorsement and provides practice questions rather than a live lab.

What Will You Learn?

  • Translate business requirements into measurable Claude architecture and completion contracts.
  • Select workflow, agentic, and augmented-LLM patterns from the actual control-flow requirements.
  • Evaluate model, prompt, context, caching, and Skill choices without confusing capability with authority.
  • Design tool, retrieval, and integration boundaries that preserve identity, evidence, and execution semantics.
  • Interpret quality, latency, cost, experiment, and telemetry evidence using the right population and outcome.
  • Assess guardrails, human oversight, privacy responsibilities, and fairness evidence within a defined system.
  • Plan stakeholder alignment, implementation handoff, recovery, and Claude Code team operations.
