Course selection

Choose a practice course that fits your exam goal

Check the exact exam code, language, learning objectives, test structure and a sample explanation before choosing certification practice material.

Similar certification names do not always refer to the same exam or level. Before comparing question counts, make sure a course addresses the exam you actually plan to take.

Start with the exact exam

Find the certification on the provider’s website. Record its exam code or version where one exists, and check the current objectives. A cloud-fundamentals exam and an administrator exam may share a platform name while assessing different decisions.

Use primary sources for the current requirements: AWS Certification, Microsoft Credentials, Google Cloud Certification, CompTIA Certifications, or the relevant certification organization.

If a provider announces a new version or retirement, compare the course description with that change. A title containing a recent year does not by itself demonstrate coverage of new objectives.

Read objectives before counting questions

Look at what the course says you will practice. Does it address the skills you need? Check the requirements too: a practice course may assume knowledge you have not yet studied.

Question count describes the amount of material, not its accuracy, difficulty or suitability for you. The arrangement matters: topic sets can help you review a gap, while full mock exams serve a different purpose.

Try an explanation

Use a sample question before buying. After choosing an answer, inspect the explanation for every option. Look for a clear link between the scenario’s conditions and the chosen answer, rather than a restatement of the answer key.

If the sample exposes an unfamiliar prerequisite, decide whether you need a lesson, documentation review or hands-on practice before more questions. Practice tests are one part of a study plan, not a replacement for every learning activity.

Confirm the purchase details

BrightRung courses are currently in English, even when you browse this website in another language. Check whether you can comfortably read the questions and explanations in that language.

Open the specific course on Udemy to confirm the current price, included tests, account access and any subscription eligibility. Those details can vary over time and by location. A link to Udemy does not mean the course is included with your existing plan.

Your short checklist

  • The exact certification and exam code match your goal.
  • The stated objectives and prerequisites fit your current stage.
  • The course language is suitable for your study.
  • The sample explanation helps you understand the decision.
  • The test structure and current Udemy purchase terms are clear.
