  • Choose Snowflake AI capabilities for structured analytics, retrieval, generation and custom model workloads.
  • Diagnose function inputs, vector behavior, semantic definitions and application context errors.
  • Assess model permissions, tool access, regional processing constraints and AI safety controls.
  • Distinguish inference, retrieval and compute costs using the appropriate usage and observability surfaces.
  • Review document parsing, extraction, file access, processing recovery and fine-tuning data quality.
  • Use two 55-question timed mocks to identify topics that need further study.

More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Prepare for SnowPro Specialty: Gen AI GES-C02 by practicing the decisions behind Snowflake AI workflows. You will work through 330 original English questions across four focused practice sets and two timed mock exams. This is a practice-test course: learning happens through questions, answer feedback and targeted review rather than video lectures.

Practice the decisions that matter

  • Select the right capability: distinguish Cortex AI Functions, Search, Analyst, Agents, Cortex Code, Model Registry and Snowpark Container Services.
  • Build reliable AI workflows: reason about function inputs, vector operations, semantic definitions, retrieved evidence and application context.
  • Govern real access: inspect model grants, inherited roles, tool permissions and approved cross-region processing boundaries.
  • Diagnose quality and spending: separate retrieval from answer evaluation, traces from usage meters, and inference from warehouse or compute-pool costs.
  • Process documents carefully: choose parsing or extraction, preserve layout and field meaning, handle file constraints and coordinate stream/task recovery.
  • Review mistakes with purpose: every answer option includes feedback, and each question provides an overall explanation, a study tip and official documentation for further reading.

Use focused practice, then timed mocks

The first four sets contain 55 questions each and use a self-selected 90-minute training limit. The final two mocks contain 55 questions each with an 85-minute limit, matching the published GES-C02 question count and duration. Each mock uses 10, 21, 16 and 8 questions across the four domains, an integer approximation of the official 18%, 38%, 29% and 15% weights. Single-answer and multiple-answer questions are clearly marked.

Start with a focused set, examine why each alternative fails under the stated conditions, and revisit the relevant documentation. Then attempt a mock under timed conditions and use the domain feedback to choose your next review topic. The course's 80% training threshold is a study target; it is not a conversion of Snowflake's official scaled passing score and does not predict an exam result.

Version and scope

The questions follow the GES-C02 guide and documentation checked on October 11, 2026. Where product names or APIs have changed, explanations distinguish exam-guide terminology from current documentation, including Snowflake Intelligence/CoWork and document page-selection options. Availability, privileges and limits can depend on the actual account, region and feature.

This independently produced course is not endorsed by Snowflake and contains no actual confidential exam questions. It does not include lab access or a certificate of completion. Snowflake-specific SQL, API and CLI examples were checked against documentation; they were not executed in a Snowflake account. Local numerical examples were recalculated. AI tools assisted question and cover creation; the authoring agent reviewed all questions against the stated sources. That review is not an independent professional audit. No passing guarantee is offered.

Choose one answer1 of 3

A support team needs relevant passages from frequently updated manuals. A separate application already generates answers. Which managed component best fills the missing retrieval layer?

Before you begin

  • Familiarity with SQL and core Snowflake objects, roles, warehouses and stages is recommended.
  • Basic knowledge of language models, embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation will help.
  • A Snowflake account is optional for these practice tests; account access and lab environments are not included.
  • Read English technical documentation and review the current GES-C02 exam requirements before booking an exam.

Who this is for

  • Snowflake practitioners preparing for SnowPro Specialty Gen AI GES-C02.
  • Data engineers and developers reviewing governed enterprise AI workflows on Snowflake.
  • Analytics and platform professionals who want practice diagnosing AI quality, access, costs and document processing.
