AWS CloudOps Engineer SOA-C03: 320 Practice Questions

Overview

What you’ll practice

  • Diagnose monitoring and automation failures using metrics, logs, event delivery and execution state.
  • Choose scaling, health-check, backup and recovery actions from operational constraints.
  • Trace CloudFormation, image and deployment changes without confusing a requested change with a successful outcome.
  • Distinguish IAM, encryption, compliance and security-finding boundaries in concrete incidents.
  • Troubleshoot VPC, DNS, hybrid connectivity and content-delivery paths using the available evidence.
  • Practise two timed 65-question mixed mocks with five-domain coverage and detailed option feedback.
More about this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Practise operational decisions for the current AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate exam. This English practice-test course follows the current SOA-C03 guide checked in September 2026. It is designed for learners who know basic AWS services and want to connect observed evidence with a safe next action.

The course contains 320 original questions in six tests:

  • Monitoring, remediation and performance: 50 questions.
  • Scaling, availability, backup and recovery: 50 questions.
  • Deployment, provisioning and automation: 50 questions.
  • Security, networking and content delivery: 40 questions.
  • Two mixed mocks: 65 questions and 130 minutes each.

Each mock uses an author approximation of the current five-domain weights: 14 monitoring, 14 reliability, 14 deployment, 11 security and 12 networking questions. AWS reports a scaled score and does not publish a fixed raw-answer percentage for this course. The course's 80% pass setting is an author review target, not a conversion of AWS's 720 scaled passing score. All 65 practice questions count in each mock; this course does not imitate the live exam's unidentified unscored questions.

Work through CloudWatch metrics and alarms, EventBridge delivery, Systems Manager runbooks, and compute, storage and database bottlenecks. Reliability questions distinguish scaling from health, backups from restored service, and regional disaster recovery from ordinary high availability. Deployment scenarios examine image versions, CloudFormation state, release controls and event-driven operations.

Security and networking questions follow the actual permission, encryption, route, DNS, firewall and content-delivery path. The mixed mocks add evidence such as log fields, observed failure stages, timing, resource scope and actions already taken. Selected calculations and SQL fixtures require you to check a concrete result. Some foundational rules recur for consolidation; the course does not claim 320 independent mechanisms or proven equivalence to live exam difficulty.

Every question includes feedback for each option, an overall explanation, a short review prompt and relevant further-reading links in the answer feedback. Use the focused tests to identify weak areas, then take each mixed mock without notes and review why every rejected option fails under the stated conditions.

Questions use single-answer and multiple-response formats. Multiple-response questions have at least five candidates and require two correct selections. No deployed AWS lab, AWS account, video lectures, exam voucher or paid cloud usage is included. This independent course is not endorsed by AWS, contains no recalled examination questions and cannot guarantee certification or a particular score.

An Amazon Linux EC2 instance publishes CPUUtilization and NetworkIn in CloudWatch. The operations team also needs the percentage of memory used inside the guest OS. The instance can reach CloudWatch and has the required write permissions. Which next configuration supplies that measurement?

Before you begin

  • Basic familiarity with AWS services, IP networking and cloud operations.
  • Prior hands-on AWS experience is helpful but not required to take these tests.
  • No AWS account or paid subscription is needed for the practice tests.

Who this is for

  • Learners preparing for the AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate SOA-C03 exam.
  • Cloud operations practitioners reviewing monitoring, resilience and deployment decisions.
  • Engineers who want scenario-based practice across IAM, networking and incident diagnosis.
